Most of the time, we are so in love with our partners that we can’t wait to introduce them to our nosy cousins or take them to a family gathering. The benefits of doing this is that somehow it nurtures our relationship with the family and if they approve of the partner, it’s even better. The downside of this is that too many people get involved and you end up losing a sense of privacy. It is only good when the relationship with your partner is going well, when things are bad it is another story.


So the argument here is; to what extent should parents get involved in our relationships? Should we let them know in the first place or are there others things to consider when examining this situation?
